Summer wear : girls top


Christmas is days away and I'm finding that is a great motivator to get some sewing finished for my girls.
The fabric used to be a pillowcase which I spied for $1 at the Salvos.


I based this on those other gathered pillowcase tops you see floating around the web but because the fabric was stiff, I pleated the front neckline instead. 


Great for summer with shorts racing around chasing the chooks.

Now to finish a nightie....

  3. The chevron looks very trendy! "Summer" and "Christmas" in the same blog post...that is so weird to me, haha! We had just a little bit of snow blowing around here yesterday.
